DROP social listening FAQ
Public mentions, potential opportunities, pricing and the limits of a sampled search.

What is DROP? #
DROP is a social listening and customer discovery tool for product makers and content creators. Paste a product website, public creator page, bio-link page or X profile. Live results include the source and why it fits; public demos are clearly labeled fictional examples.
Do I need keywords to start? #
No. Paste a website or an X profile. DROP reads that product identity and builds the listen from it. Short brand words collide; the URL is the identity.
Can I watch a competitor? #
Yes. Paste the rival’s site or handle. That radar is a separate subscription from your own product.
How do I find people who need my SaaS on Twitter without ads? #
Paste your site into DROP. It searches public posts on X for people already asking for the job your product does, then opens the original post so you can reply. Log in to preview. Focus is $19/month per site or handle, for up to 500 post reads per paid period, not guaranteed leads. You do not start from a keyword list or an ad campaign.
Coverage and results
Which networks does DROP search? #
Paid monitoring supports public posts on X, Reddit, LinkedIn and Threads. The initial logged-in preview samples X and Reddit. Private messages, subscriber-only content and follower graphs are out of scope. Source availability varies.
Does the initial preview search a full 30 days? #
The initial logged-in preview samples recent needs on X and Reddit, then older posts or alternative wording when useful. Paid monitoring adds LinkedIn and Threads and searches up to 30 days within the allowance. Neither mode promises a complete archive or a matching result.
Does DROP find every mention? #
No. DROP collects a sample of relevant public conversation. It separates mentions from opportunities; an opportunity needs supported need or interest evidence. Duplicate and unrelated posts should not count as useful results.
Is DROP a mention-tracking tool? #
Yes. DROP monitors relevant public mentions and separately identifies potential customer and fan opportunities. A mention provides context; an opportunity needs evidence of a problem or explicit ordinary content interest that fits the product or creator. Collection is sampled, not an exhaustive mention archive or a complete share-of-voice service. Sentiment alone does not establish buying intent.
How long does the first useful result take? #
DROP does not promise a fixed time or a matching result. Website reading, source collection, provider availability and review all affect progress. Check the displayed stage and source status; a failed or unfinished search is different from a reviewed sample with no match. Contact Info@drop.space if progress remains blocked.
Why was today empty if the last 30 days have posts? #
Zero displayed results do not establish that nobody needs your product. Check the source status first: collecting or waiting for a provider, a provider failure, a read allowance or budget wait, pending or failed review, and a completed search with no matching evidence are different outcomes. Check active filters and the post publication window too: an older post can be discovered today. Only a completed, reviewed sample supports a no-match conclusion for that sample. A 24-hour view is a rolling window, not a local calendar day.
Creators
Can creators use DROP? #
Yes. Paste a public creator page or X profile. DROP reads your bio, explicitly linked pages and a small sample of public author posts. It looks for relevant content requests and specific shared interests, not just software problems. A shared interest is a possible connection, not a promised subscriber.
Can I paste OnlyFans, Fanvue or a bio-link page? #
Yes, when the page exposes a readable public bio. If a page is gated or unavailable, use a public X profile or bio-link page. DROP never reads subscriber-only material. Matching uses documented, non-sensitive content topics; it does not infer gender or sexual preferences.
Billing and data
How much does DROP cost? #
Log in to preview matching posts. New accounts can open one recent, actionable opportunity before subscribing, when available. Focus $19/mo per site or handle. Growth $99/mo per site or handle. Focus includes up to 500 post reads per paid period; Growth includes up to 3,000 and CSV export. Reads are not guaranteed leads. Each additional monitored identity needs its own subscription. Checks are paced by remaining allowance and source availability.
Do preview reads count toward my paid allowance? #
Yes. Post reads used by the preview count toward the first paid billing period. The allowance measures collected posts, not useful opportunities or customers. It refreshes after a verified renewal payment.
Will I be charged automatically when my allowance runs out? #
No. DROP has no automatic overage charges. Collection can wait for allowance while saved results remain available. Each monitored site or handle has its own subscription and allowance; one subscription does not create a shared pool.
How do renewal and cancellation work? #
Subscriptions renew monthly through Lemon Squeezy until cancelled. Manage or cancel each subscription using your account billing link or the link in your receipt. Cancellation normally preserves access until the paid period ends; failed payments, refunds, expiration or pauses can restrict it. Checkout shows applicable taxes. Contact Info@drop.space for billing help.
Can I export results or connect my own automation? #
Growth includes CSV export of available results. The Focus and Growth plans do not promise a public API, webhook, MCP interface, shared team workspace or automatic outreach. Do not buy a plan assuming those capabilities are included; contact Info@drop.space to discuss an integration requirement.
How can I request a data correction or deletion? #
Email Info@drop.space to request access, correction, export or deletion. Public post authors can contact DROP even without an account. Identity verification and applicable retention obligations may apply. The 30-day radar view is not a promise that all account or transaction records are erased after 30 days.
