What to do with DROP results
Once DROP lists people and posts, talk on the original post, filter by intent, and keep one radar per product.
Short answer. Open the card, read the sentence, reply in public if you can help. Filter by mood. Do not treat the count as a leaderboard.
Work the list like office hours
Ten careful replies beat a hundred likes. Block time. One radar, one hour.
Use the faces as a queue, not a brand graph
Opportunity, source, time and sentiment filters change the chart and the cards. Review the supporting text for each person; a mood does not prove intent.
When the day is zero
Check source completion, provider failures, allowance waits and pending review before treating zero as a completed empty search. Then check filters and the publication window; today’s discovery can be an older post.
Turn a card into a careful next action
Illustrative exercise — not a real customer result.
Worth checking: Read the original request, explain one useful step, and note whether the author responds or tries a solution.
Do not count: Saving, opening or exporting a post does not mean the author became a customer.
Next step: Keep outcomes in separate stages, stop after a refusal and respect rules on promotion and AI-written replies.
Try it step by step
- Open a relevant original conversation and confirm that the author’s question is still unresolved.
- Give one concrete answer; disclose your connection if you recommend your own product.
- Record whether the conversation led to a reply, trial or payment. Do not count saved posts as customers.
Using DROP for this task
DROP is a social listening and customer discovery tool for product makers and content creators. Paid monitoring supports 4 platforms: X, Reddit, LinkedIn and Threads. Focus includes up to 500 post reads per paid period; Growth includes up to 3,000. Reads are not guaranteed leads. The initial logged-in preview samples X and Reddit.
Inspect a product example · Inspect a creator example · Pricing and limits. Both examples are fictional and need no login. Read a real DROP snapshot with original-source excerpts and limitations.
Does DROP automatically contact people?
No. You review the evidence and decide whether and how to respond.
Can I export and message everyone?
Growth includes CSV export, but an export is not consent for outreach. Respect platform rules, community expectations and each person’s response.
