The coronal hotel stream is expected to arrive Dec.9 and spark minor geomagnetic instability. The CME will arrive a few hours later, and will likely produce moderate to strong storm activity (Kp 6-7). This is NOT a killshot scenario for earth, even with a weaker magnetic field.
