England’s famous Salisbury Cathedral doubled up as a COVID-19 vaccination centre on January 20.

In the Cathedral’s Great Hall medical staff administered the vaccine to patients, deemed to be in the highest risk category.

Across the UK, dozens of places are being used as vaccine centres, including the Al-Abbas Islamic Centre in Birmingham.

According to NHS figures more than 4 million people in England have received a coronavirus vaccine since December 8.

Meanwhile in Germany a COVID vaccination centre opened up at Terminal 5 of Berlin’s new and infamous Brandenburg Airport

This comes as Germany has crossed the 50,000 mark of COVID deaths.
