Joe Biden Calls FDR Packing The Court A Bonehead Idea in 1983
Joe Biden the Democratic presidential nominee and his running mate, Kamala Harris are doing little to hide the fact that they don't believe the American people have the right to make up their own minds, as they not only refuse to say whether they would 'Pack The Supreme Court.'
But Joe Biden has now taken their dodging reprehensibly further by declaring “They [Americans] will know my position on court-packing when the election is over.”
But while Joe Biden is now telling the American people you don't have the right to know my position about 'Packing the court, he was openly talked about it in 1983.
Joe Biden, during a 1983 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, slammed Franklin Delano Roosevelt's idea of packing the Supreme Court saying:
"It was a bonehead idea. It was a terrible, terrible mistake to make, and it put in question, for an entire decade, the independence of the most significant body—including the Congress in my view—the most significant body in this country, the Supreme Court of the United States of America."
